Once upon a time...
- In 1962 Svend Moeller started a small workshop in Sandved. He worked for the local small companies and farmers. The work was tooling of parts, black smiths work etc. Later in the sixties and seventies he got a cooperation established with two young engineers in Ringsted (some 30 km towards Copenhagen from Sandved). One of these young engineers, who is now 70 years old, is still a designer in Moeller and Devicon, working part-time.
- Now Moeller could start producing real machines. At the end of the sixties Svend Moeller established a partnership with his little brother, Erik Moeller, who from now on took care of e.g. the sales function in the company. The company established a cooperation with the company Foss Electric for designing and building a machine for testing milk, which Foss Electric sold to dairies throughout the world. This production continued until 1985 when Foss designed a new computerised machine that gradually took over.
- In 1989 Svend Moeller passed over his part of the company to his little brother Erik Moeller. Erik started to work for a wider range of companies and also to use other designers than the two engineers in Ringsted.
- In 1991 Erik got in contact with Devicon I/S, a small engineering and machine manufacturer north of Copenhagen, which was specialized in working for the Health-care Industry. Devicon was owned by Aksel Voigt and Hans Harild. In 1993 Erik, Hans and Aksel agreed to merge the two companies and bring the workshop manager in Moeller Special Machines Aps into the group of owners. The new company was called Moeller & Devicon A/S and all machine manufacture was moved to Sandved. In 1996 Hans Harild was bought out of the company by Per and Aksel – they departed in a friendly manner. Hans got a new job in Novo Nordisk where he is a manager today. In 1998 Per and Aksel agreed with Erik Moeller to buy his part of the company. Per and Aksel were then 50/50 % owners of the company Moeller and Devicon. In 2002 Erik Moeller died of cancer 62 years old.
- In 2003 Aksel and Per sold 51% of the company to Robert Bosch and the remaining 49% were acquired by Robert Bosch May 1 st 2007
